Our Grade 7 students had an exciting and engaging learning experience as members of the Eyewitness News team, Ginelle Langley, Associate Editor, and Eliysha Smith, Production Associate, visited to conduct a journalism segment and mini-workshop.

The session highlighted the importance of responsible journalism, emphasizing the value of accuracy, fact-checking, gathering reliable information, and reporting stories with integrity.

Students also had the opportunity to put their learning into practice by presenting their very own news stories, using information they gathered and facts to support their reports.
