A fun-filled day of culture, creativity, and Bahamian heritage!

Our Grade 6 students enjoyed an exciting and immersive visit to Junkanoo World, where they learned about one of The Bahamas’ most treasured cultural traditions. From performing energetic rush outs with drums and cowbells to designing masks, trying on costumes, and discovering how Junkanoo drums are made, students experienced the vibrant spirit of Junkanoo firsthand.
